About this service

Sometimes the hardest part is knowing where to start. Veterans’ Wellbeing Hub brings together a supportive community of veterans, volunteers and partner organisations to help people feel less alone and more connected. Rutland residents can access support through the Oakham drop-in as well as the wider hub network. The service can help with mental wellbeing, housing concerns, money worries, benefits questions, training, volunteering and other daily pressures, while also offering a calm place to meet others who understand military life.

How they can help you

They provide drop-in support, peer connection, practical advice and signposting to specialist help for issues such as wellbeing, housing, debt, employment and benefits.

What to expect

You can contact the team or attend a drop-in session to talk through what is going on and get friendly, practical guidance at your own pace.

Who it's for

Armed Forces veterans and, where appropriate, their families, including people living in Rutland who want advice or social support.
