Building a kinder way to find support
I'm a Health, Wellbeing and Social Care student, a single mum of two, and someone who believes that finding help should never feel overwhelming.
A few years ago, I found myself searching for support too, and quickly realised how difficult it is. Helpful organisations existed, but the information was scattered across dozens of websites, directories and social media pages. It was easy to miss the support that could make a real difference.
That experience inspired me to create OneRoof Connect.
What started as a simple idea has grown into a national platform that brings together charities, councils, community groups, support services and free events in one easy-to-use place.
I'm not a large organisation or a technology company. I'm simply someone who believes that communities are stronger when people can easily find help and when amazing local organisations are easier to discover.
Every service added, every event shared and every new partnership is another step towards a UK where nobody has to spend hours searching for support.
If OneRoof Connect helps just one family find support sooner, one parent discover a local community group or one person realise that help is available, then every late night spent building this platform has been worth it.

Why we created OneRoof Connect

OneRoof Connect was created to change that. We want to reduce overwhelm and confusion by bringing helpful information together in one clear, warm, easy-to-use place.
