Sanctuary Scheme
Helps domestic abuse survivors stay safely in their home through security improvements.
You shouldn't have to leave your home because of someone else's behaviour.
About this service
The Sanctuary Scheme is a programme run in partnership between the City of London Corporation, housing providers and domestic abuse organisations. It provides practical security enhancements — such as reinforced doors, window locks, alarms and panic buttons — to help people who have experienced domestic abuse stay safely in their home if that is their wish. The scheme is an alternative to fleeing, and is available to owner-occupiers, private renters and social housing tenants.
