About this service
Sometimes the most powerful support comes from a simple chat over a hot cup of coffee with someone who truly understands the ups and downs of life with a disabled child. The Rutland Rotaract Parent-Carer Coffee Morning is an informal and welcoming peer support group held on the third Thursday of each month during term time. There is no agenda or pressure—just a group of friendly people who share similar experiences. Whether you need to talk through a difficult week, celebrate a breakthrough, or just enjoy some grown-up conversation while the kettle is on, this group is there for you. It’s a chance to step away from your caring responsibilities for an hour or two, recharge your batteries, and find comfort in the shared wisdom of a supportive community of friends who walk the same path as you.
