The Preparing for Older Age pilot, also known as Life Transitions, offers free support for people aged 40 and above in Littlehampton and surrounding areas including Angmering, East Preston and Rustington. The scheme helps people think ahead about later-life changes such as retirement, moving home, changes in health or mobility, becoming a carer or experiencing bereavement. Support includes one-to-one conversations with trained volunteers in person, by phone or online, along with a free digital app that helps people create an action plan for the future. It is designed to help people make informed decisions before life changes become urgent.
