Their service is built on the power of peer support, matching families with trained volunteers who have parenting experience themselves. These volunteers visit you in your own home, offering a listening ear, practical help with the children, or simply a companion to talk to. In addition to home visits, they run community groups where you can meet other local parents in a relaxed setting. Whether you are dealing with postnatal depression, financial stress, or just feeling overwhelmed, Home-Start is there to help you build the confidence and resilience you need to give your children the best possible start in life.
