CAPS Independent Advocacy provides CAPS helps people prepare for meetings, have their say, understand options and make their voice heard through independent advocacy for people in Musselburgh. It is there for adults in East Lothian aged 18 to 65 with mental health or drug and alcohol related concerns, plus some children in the hearings system. You can use it in person or online, whichever suits you. There is no charge for using it. You can contact them yourself, so you do not need to be referred by anyone else. It is okay to start with a short message or call and take the rest at your own pace. Whatever you are feeling, you do not have to make sense of it alone.
