About this service
Barking junior parkrun is a free, fun and friendly 2k event for children aged 4 to 14 and their families, held every Sunday at 9am at Barking Park. The course is 2 laps on flat paths, starting near the Splash Zone. Adults accompanying children must also register. Everyone is timed and receives a result. The event is entirely volunteer-led and welcomes all abilities — walking is absolutely fine. Registration is free and only needs to be done once at parkrun.org.uk.
