Riverfest 2027
Free family environmental festival at Newport Quay on Saturday 8 May 2027.
Riverfest 2027 offers a friendly, welcoming space for families. Taking that first step to join in can feel daunting, but a warm welcome often makes all the difference.
About this event
Riverfest is a relaxed, free family day down by the water. It is a lovely chance to slow down, spend some time in the open air, and simply enjoy being part of the local community. There is no pressure to rush or fill your day, as you are free to explore the stalls and activities at your own pace. If you happen to feel a bit lost or need a hand finding your way, the organisers are there to help with a friendly word. It is a genuinely gentle, uplifting way to spend time together.
Whether you are a local resident, a visitor, or part of a family looking for a low-cost day out, you will feel right at home here. Everyone is welcome, and you will find it easy to just be yourself. It is a really kind way to enjoy the riverbank.
