About this event

Museum Socials are relaxed, dementia-friendly gatherings at the National Museum of Scotland, and this December session celebrates the winter solstice with seasonal activities, object handling and creative crafts. Tea, cake and a warm welcome are always provided, and each session explores a different museum theme.

You can expect a friendly, unhurried morning in the Learning Centre with a chance to handle objects and meet others. This session is suitable for people living with dementia, their relatives, friends and carers.
