Children’s Chess Club
A children’s chess club with games, sets, and support for young players.
Children’s Chess Club offers a gentle space to look after your wellbeing. It is okay to take part in whatever way feels right for you, and a warm welcome can make taking that first step feel easier.
About this event
Westminster Libraries and Archives runs a friendly chess club for children where young players can learn, practise and enjoy games together. It feels like a quiet, supportive space where you can simply settle down with a board and get comfortable with the game at your own pace. There is no rush here, just a helpful environment to share a love for chess with others.
Whether your child is already a keen player or just starting to build their confidence, they will feel right at home in this welcoming group. It is a lovely way to spend some time.
