A shared listening group for people who enjoy recorded music.
Carshalton and Wallington Recorded Music Society offers an inclusive, understanding space. It is okay to take part in whatever way feels comfortable, and you are welcome just as you are.
About this event
The Carshalton and Wallington Recorded Music Society is a lovely space where you can simply sit and listen to music with others. It feels like a quiet, thoughtful afternoon spent in good company, where the focus is on shared appreciation and gentle conversation about the pieces being played. The team from the library hosts these sessions to help people feel more connected and at ease while enjoying their favourite recordings together. Everything is free to attend, providing a calm environment where you can take your time and just enjoy being part of the group.
Whether you are a lifelong music lover or just looking for a kind community space, you will feel right at home here. It is a wonderful way to meet neighbours and spend time in a relaxed setting. Please do come along and see what it is like for yourself.
