Scope Helpline provides guidance on claiming Personal Independence Payment (PIP), navigating social care, and finding local support. It is there for disabled people and their families in England and Wales. There is no charge for using it. You can contact them yourself, so you do not need to be referred by anyone else. Opening times are monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm; Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 6pm. You know your situation best, and clear information can make decisions feel less daunting. Support should fit around your life rather than the other way round, and it is fine to ask for things in the way that works for you.
