RISE is an independent Sussex-based charity that helps people affected by domestic abuse. Based in Brighton, the charity offers practical help ranging from direct advice and emotional support through to refuge accommodation for those whose lives are at risk. The organisation supports people in crisis as well as those rebuilding their lives after abuse, and provides clear referral routes for self-referrals and professional referrals. RISE has been offering domestic abuse support in Sussex since 1994.
