About this service
Home-Start UK provides volunteers visit families at home for a few hours a week to provide non-judgmental, confidential support, from playing with children to helping with appointments for people across England. It is there for parents who are struggling and have at least one child under the age of five. There is no charge for using it. You can contact them yourself, so you do not need to be referred by anyone else. Opening times are varies by local branch; office hours typically Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00. You do not have to be coping badly to ask for help with the day to day.
