Grandad's Front Room White Goods Support
Free fridges, cookers and washing machines for households who cannot afford essential appliances.
A working fridge or washing machine takes an enormous weight off a household, and asking for one is a reasonable thing to do.
About this service
Alongside furniture, Grandad's Front Room provides essential white goods, including fridges, cookers and washing machines, to households in and around Bognor Regis who cannot afford to replace a broken appliance. Losing a fridge or a washer can quickly turn a manageable week into a crisis, and the team treats a replacement as a practical way to keep a home functioning. Donated appliances are checked before they are passed on, and the service is free to people who need it.
How they can help you
Replaces essential appliances so a broken fridge or washer does not become a financial crisis.
What to expect
Explain what has broken and your situation, and the team will say what is in stock and how delivery or collection can be arranged.
Who it's for
Bognor Regis households without a working fridge, cooker or washing machine and no means to buy one.
