Good Morning Antrim

About this service

Good Morning Antrim is a telephone befriending and alert service run by the Family Caring Centre. It aims to reduce fear and isolation among older and other vulnerable community members by making agreed calls on set weekdays. Each call offers friendly conversation, information about local services and events, and a chance to share concerns that can be passed on with permission. If someone does not answer and has not advised the service they will be away, a nominated emergency contact can be alerted to check on them. This can offer reassurance both to the person receiving calls and to people who care about them.
