Gingerbread provides expert helpline advice, online information guides, and local peer support groups for single mums and dads. It is there for any parent with the majority care of their children living in England or Wales. There is no charge for using it. You can contact them yourself, so you do not need to be referred by anyone else. Opening times are mon 10am-6pm, Tue-Fri 10am-4pm. Whatever you are facing as a family, you do not have to work it out alone. Family life can be demanding, and asking for a bit of support early often makes things easier later.
