About this service
City & Hackney Carers Centre provides 1-to-1 advice, help with filling out forms for Carer's Allowance, and peer support groups. It is there for unpaid carers living in or caring for someone in Hackney. There is no charge for using it. You can contact them yourself, so you do not need to be referred by anyone else. Opening times are monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. You can ask for support before you reach breaking point. Looking after someone else is often a full time role, and it is okay to want support for yourself as well.
