Carers Support West Sussex helps people who look after a family member or friend because of illness, disability, mental ill health or addiction. Support includes advice on carers’ rights and benefits, help with form filling, a carers card, groups and breaks, and someone to talk to who understands the particular strain of caring. Many carers do not call themselves carers, and simply recognising that the role has a name is often the point at which help becomes possible.
