Bognor Regis Foodbank
Emergency food parcels for local people in crisis, provided on referral from a partner agency.
Asking for a food parcel takes courage, and the volunteers you meet are there because they want to help without judgement.
About this service
Bognor Regis Foodbank is part of the Trussell network and provides emergency food parcels containing at least three days of nutritionally balanced meals for people who cannot afford to buy food. Parcels are given against a voucher from a referral agency such as Citizens Advice, a school, a health visitor or the council, so the foodbank can help while also pointing you towards longer-term support with the underlying problem. Volunteers also offer a listening ear and a hot drink while your parcel is made up.
How they can help you
Provides an immediate food parcel so that nobody in the local area has to go hungry while a longer-term solution is found.
What to expect
You will be asked for your voucher and a few details so the foodbank can record the help given, then a volunteer will talk you through the parcel.
Who it's for
Anyone in Bognor Regis and the surrounding villages who has run out of food and cannot afford to buy more.
