When a family is dealing with several problems at once, the county’s family hubs can coordinate support through an early help assessment. A lead worker talks with the family about what is happening, agrees what would help, and brings in schools, health services, housing or money advice as needed, so the family is not left repeating the same story to five different organisations. Families can ask for early help themselves, and consent is always part of the process.
