Perth Storytelling Festival: Birds and Beasts – An Evening of Storytelling
An evening of storytelling exploring tales of the natural world with a panel of acclaimed Scottish storytellers at AK Bell Library.
About this event
Join a panel of storytellers for an engaging session exploring tales of the natural world and the ways in which stories and legends help us connect with nature. The panel includes Tom Muir, Orkney's only living native storyteller with a lifetime of Scottish, Viking and Nordic stories; Andrew Woodward, a Scotland-based storyteller with over a decade of experience; and Jess Smith BEM, a Scottish writer and storyteller focusing on the experiences of Scottish Travellers. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and take part in a discussion on the role of storytelling in deepening our relationship with the natural environment. You can expect a captivating evening of spoken-word storytelling and lively discussion. This session is suitable for adults and families.
