Monday Stay and Play offers a gentle space to look after your wellbeing. It is okay to take part in whatever way feels right for you, and a warm welcome can make taking that first step feel easier.
About this event
Monday Stay and Play is a free, relaxed session at the library for children up to five and the grown-ups who look after them. It is a lovely chance to step out and enjoy some simple time together away from the house. There are plenty of toys to explore, some gentle movement to get everyone active, and quiet pockets of space where you can chat and get to know other local families. It is a very soft, low-pressure way to spend an hour or so, letting you and your little one settle in and just be.
Whether you are a new parent looking to find your feet, or you are caring for a toddler and fancy a friendly change of scene, you will be warmly welcomed here. It is a great way to connect with others nearby while your child plays safely. You are welcome to come along exactly as you are.
