'Legacy' Art Installation at Dunfermline Abbey
Free site-specific art installation inspired by the Fife Pilgrim Way at Dunfermline Abbey.
About this event
'Legacy' is a free site-specific art installation by Joanna van den Berg at Dunfermline Abbey, created for Pilgrimage Month and inspired by the Fife Pilgrim Way. Installed in the Memorial Chapel, the three-piece work reflects on the traces, marks and relics of travellers who have shaped the landscape over centuries, set against the steady rumble of land, sea and climate change.
You can expect a calm, contemplative artwork in a historic chapel, free to view during abbey opening hours. This session is suitable for all ages; drop in during opening hours.
