Free Barbican Public Space Installations
An ongoing range of free installations, commissions and events across the Barbican’s public spaces.
Free Barbican Public Space Installations offers an inclusive, understanding space. It is okay to take part in whatever way feels comfortable, and you are welcome just as you are.
About this event
The Barbican Centre transforms its public spaces into a series of open, creative installations that are free for everyone to enjoy. It is a thoughtful way to slow down and notice something new in the heart of the building. You might find yourself wandering through an imaginative commission or simply taking a moment to sit and observe the changing atmosphere. The space feels open and unhurried, giving you the time to explore at your own pace without any expectations.
Whether you are a local resident, visiting for the day, or exploring with your family, you will find a quiet space to breathe. Please do come along and see what catches your eye.
