Family Storytelling Day
A free day of storytelling, crafts and animal encounters for families at the National Museum of Scotland.
This day offers an easy, welcoming way to enjoy the museum together. It is okay to come along and join in at your own pace.
About this event
Spend a day at the museum discovering stories of woodland birds, beasts and beasties. You can settle in for enchanting tales shared by the Scottish International Storytelling Festival, get creative at the craft tables, and even get up close to some incredible animals from the collections. It is a lovely, free way to spend time together indoors. You simply pop by the desk in the Grand Gallery when you arrive to choose your sessions.
Whether you are a parent looking for a quiet moment with your little ones or you have older children, you will feel right at home here. Everyone is welcome to come along.
