Central Library Books Aloud Reading Group
A monthly reading group at Central Library on the first Tuesday of the month, 10:00am to 11:30am.
Central Library Books Aloud Reading Group offers an inclusive, understanding space. It is okay to take part in whatever way feels comfortable, and you are welcome just as you are.
About this event
The Books Aloud Reading Group at Central Library is a calm space to share stories and enjoy good company. It feels like sitting down with neighbours for a relaxed chat, where reading aloud brings everyone together in a natural, unhurried way. Bexley Libraries have created a really gentle environment that is open to all, helping you feel right at home from the moment you settle into your chair. It is completely free to come along.
Whether you are a sighted or visually impaired reader, you will find a warm welcome here. It is a lovely way to feel connected to your local community, so please do come along and enjoy the stories at your own pace.
